War does not determine who is right... it determines who survives.

There are three different types of wars in 4 story; the field battle, the war of conquest and the siege war.


In the "State of war" you can be attacked by an opposing unit or by an opposing defence-NPC.

In "State of war" you can be attacked by an opposing unit, an opposing defence NPC or by an NPC in "State of war" in a neutral village.

  • In the "State of war" you can be attacked by an opposing unit or by an opposing defence-NPC.
  • In "State of war" you can be attacked by an opposing unit, an opposing defence NPC or by an NPC in "State of war" in a neutral village.
  • In "Resting state" you will stay unaffected by magic area attacks.
  • In "Provocation status" you can be attacked by an opposing unit or by an NPC in a neutral zone.
  • If you do not attack or are not attacked by someone else for 3 minutes during "Provocation status" the status will automatically switch to "Resting state".

State of war

  • In a war zone
  • In an opposing zone
  • In the capital city of an opposing kingdom
  • Attack of a opponent/NPCs who is in "State of war".
  • Apply skill on an opponent/NPCs, who is in "State of war".
  • Attack the opponent arriving in a befriended zone first

Provocation status

  • First attack the opponent in a neutral zone in the "State of war".
  • Use a supporting skill on a character who is in "State of war" and who is in a neutral zone
  • Attacking an NPC who was in "State of war" and who is in a neutral zone
